Taking it Easy

 

Yesterday we did something we promised to do as soon as we arrived in Saigon and that was to take it easy. And, we did...sort of!

In the morning we walked to the Post Office to take a closer look. It reminds me a little of Grand Central Station in New York. The old phone booths were quite the hit.

We walked to the Backpacker's District and had to head inside to avoid our first rainfall...it only lasted 10 minutes and the people of Saigon never missed a beat.

Alice and Jim were arriving around midnight so we decided to take a short nap at 4:00, go out for something to eat and be ready when they got here....that nap lasted until 10:00, we never did have supper.

We had a quick visit with two very tired people and then it was back to sleep until 5:00 this morning when my body said "enough sleep"!
