Just a short note to let you know that we have arrived at Wadi Rum Camp. We are in two yurts in a camp away from most everything. Looks like a very enjoyable evening ahead of us.
In an hour we are heading out in a truck to see some of the surrounding sites… back of the truck, BTW.
Tomorrow I will give an update on this yurt and truck experience.
Another BTW, at 5:30 they take the cover off of our yurts to allow a view of the evening sky.

in my opinion..... a very hot place on earth with a very cool Yurt experience ----perfect combo....and by the looks of the red sand I know whynThe Martian was filmed here.
