Yesterday after we left the City of David we walked around the Christian Quarter of Old Jerusalem…every Friday at around 3:00 the Jewish Quarter shuts down until Saturday around 8:00 pm to honour Shabbat.
We were able to spend a little time cooling down from the heat at an outdoor cafe…and then we shopped,
We tried to find a place to eat on the way home but all restaurants and stores were closed down until Saturday evening at 8:00…..over 24 hours from now. So…we found a small market, bought a bottle of wine, two beer, Pringles, cheers and bread! That was supper and it was just fine,
