We walked the wall surrounding Dubrovnik this morning.....we spent lots of time trying to figure out where we camped last time we were here...many, many years ago. Fred thinks he has it figured out, me, not so much!
Being the stair counter that I am, I tried keeping track of how many stairs it took to get to the top....I lost track at around 450 so I would presume that it is between 400 and 500. Where is Alice when I need her?
We were surprised how many people complained about the cost of walking the wall and were rather vocal about it....many refused to enter, saying it was ridiculous.
The views on top were pretty nice and we tried to capture it, but couldn’t always get the scene we wanted.
We will spend Monday and much of Tuesday here and then we are finished with this leg of the trip and move on to ten days in Italy.

Looks absolutely beautfiful--- have gone through your last few posts....those villages are also very appealing and as far as hotels---Jim and I think that nothing will be Shambala Palace :-)
So those pics you have of you in the hotel -- was that the hotel// apt you were staying in or the Top 10 one ?
Middle Eastern feel for sure.
So?????/ Easier coming down the stairs? Or just as hard?
