On January 10th both Fred and I flew to Saskatoon to help celebrate his mom's 93rd birthday. We were a little shocked at the cold temperatures [-30C when we arrived], but were pleasantly surprised that the wind was missing...it cold have been much worse.
This morning we left San Pancho to start a six day drive across Mexico. The reason I mention this is because when we left Saskatoon the temperatures rose to about + 4C and tonight in Morelia the temperature is +2C. What are we thinking???
