Strange Road Behaviour

Yesterday on our little unplanned back road excursion we came across something we had never seen before. We were high in the hills and on some pretty scary hairpins curves when we met a car face on in our lane.

No one seemed bothered by this so we just followed the flow. It seems that at many sharp corners the trucks and buses cannot make the turn so the traffic just trade lanes. If we hadn't been following a car, I'm not sure how we would have handled the situation.
