Started

The long journey to Rome has finally started. When we booked it seemed like the trip was a century away, but the last few weeks have proved me wrong.

We obviously weren't thinking when we planned this summer and as a result we basically had to close up the house a month early. We are only home from Italy for a few days before heading out to a wedding and the next day to Mexico. Things that we normally do just before Mexico had to be done early.

It was hectic, but we managed quite easily....maybe this means we are becoming expects at this house closure deal!

We are sitting in the Saskatoon Airport waiting for our flight to Toronto and then on to Rome. We are scheduled to arrive in Rome at 8:00 am on the 16th. Looking forward to getting there, but not the flight.
