We are now in Parma, somewhere between Milan and Bologna. The area around Parma is known for the "big three".... Parmesan cheese, prosciutto and balsamic vinegar production.
Looking forward to spending four nights in this place and tasting different ages of the cheese and vinegars. This will be my gondola ride!

Spent more money on a 100 ml bottle of vinegar than the gondola ride would have cost me...something wrong with this picture!
