This being our last day in the Cinque Terre area we wanted to see as much as we could. We decide to take the ferry to the farthest of the five towns, Riomaggiore, visit it again and then take the train back Vernazza. We intended to spend some time there before catching the train back to Monterosso, never thinking that the hiking trail would be open. It was and we were unprepared. Does that ever stop a Ukrainian and an Irishman? Sandals will work!
They did work, but Fred thinks this is how I will be moving tomorrow.
And you wonder how we made 45 years?
The views from the trail were quite stunning and we tried to get some nice pictures to show that, but unless we bring Jerry along our pictures will have to do.

Glad to hear you got to experience some of the trails and the beautiful views. Sore muscles are a sign of a good day!
I never thought I'd see Colleen in a skirt! Pretty good legs Colleen!!
Living in a place like this must develop all kinds of muscles for these people.

That's a pretty nice looking cane you've got there!
Looks like you've had perfect weather.
The Ukrainian /Irish combo must be the secret to 45 years.
