It has been raining here for the last three days with no end in sight. We have been trying to do what we can inside the unit just to keep the boredom away. I think all the income tax has been looked at, along with the GST statement.
On Sunday, we had a huge Super Bowl party planned at the park’s restaurant, but when we went there was no sign of the party or the food. The owners had decided that the rain was too much and had left for the day.
Cindy improvised and made a quick run for snacks…we weren’t left stranded after all. The best part of the game were the commercials, some of which were hilarious.
Today we had an appointment to look at an apartment in San Pancho and because of the rain we were certain the realtor wouldn’t show up….wrong, wrong! We liked the place but found it too small. On Wednesday we have another appointment to check out the two bedroom apartment. We shall see!
It is 3:45 on Monday and for the first time since Friday afternoon, it looks like the sun may shine again!
