We had a week to get adjusted to the weather and I think we did pretty good considering we haven't been in this type of climate for many years. Thank goodness a pair of saints were on the lookout for freezing family members and had parkas and mitts ready upon arrival.
We had the rare chance to visit with every member of Fred's family as everyone was home for the birthday party.
