Every so often we have to visit the town of La Penita to get pesos at the local bank and ATM. Lo de Marcos does not have the necessary services to get cash.
The last time we went to La Penita we happen to hit market day. We love wandering around Mexican markets so we took a few hours out of our busy schedule to spend some time looking at local merchandise and the fresh food.
We were even able to fit in a stop at a local watering hole and restaurant...imagine that!
