Chili and More Chili

We went to the local Chili Cookoff to sample some of the contestant's Mexican versions. We tried pork, beef and who knows what other kind of chili.

There were ten samples and none of us could eat much of any of it...very poor, but the money went to a good cause!

Beef?? this reminds me of the " Steak Tampico-Style" that Jim had once at a small local restaurant in Tulum ( which was followed shortly thereafter by the " Tampico-Style Two Step" if you get my drift......My question is why have "Tampico style" when you are in the Yucatan?
