On Saturday evening, a group of us went to La Palapa to hear a tribute band play nothing but Stones songs. They may not look anything like the Rolling Stones, but they were surprisingly good. And yes.. the hippies did resurface!! Nothing like 50 and 60 (and some 70) year-olds grooving to the music on the beach.

Hopefully "The Stones" will be there next week too! Or maybe "The Beatles" will make an appearance. I'm up for that next week!
Hmmm....I was sure Fred was one of band members in the photo....I'm sure it brought back many memories, or maybe you don't remember that decade at all :)
Our memory is a little "fuzzy" when it comes to the decade you are talking about!
ARS - there are always bands on the beach, especially on the weekends.
